Up for sale is a GT-40 lower intake manifold. This is from a Ford Explorer but will be an excellent upgrade for any 87-93 fox body mustang. I\'m not going to throw any outlandish horsepower gains as it all depends on what setup you\'re running. I will say that it will be sufficient enough for any naturally aspirated 302 5.0L roller engine. Sale is for the lower intake manifold only. Item has been cleaned with Eagle One Mag Wheel Cleaner. It\'s a detergent that\'s available in any auto parts store to wash off grit and grime from cast aluminum parts such as this. Contrary to other\'s beliefs, it doesn\'t weaken the metal. I have a degree in chemical engineering and materials so you\'ll have to trust me on this. After proper cleansing, two coats of high heat (500F+) paint were applied. There are not any stripped threads or cracks to my knowledge. Again, this does NOT have an EGR provision.
