This will not work in navigation radios or 6 disc cd changer radios.
It will work in many mp3 radios, just make sure the mech looks like the one in your radio.
Please verify this mechanism is the same as yours. There are a couple different models of mechanisms for these vehicles and you need to verify this matches your non working mechanism.
Brand new oem replacement cd mechanism
This is easy to install.
Steps to Remove cd mechanism:
1: Remove the top and bottom cover from the radio.
2:Unplug the 1 plug on top of the radio and 2 plugs on the bottom of the radio connected to the faceplate.
3: Pry clips holding faceplate on and remove faceplate
4: use 3/16" socket and remove the 2 screws on the front and back holding cd mechanism in and lift mechanism up out of the radio.
5: Remove 2 philips screws and unplug the 2 ribbon cables on the old cd mechanism and install on new mechanism.
6: Remove 2 - 3/16"screws holding spacer bracket on the back of the old mechanism and insall on the new mechanism.
7: Install the new mechanism in the radio and reversesteps to put the radio back together.
8: Start enjoying your cd's again!!!
Replace your non working cd mechanism with this brand new replacement.
If you replace your cd mechanism it will save youfrom having to have a replacement radio reprogrammed at the dealer. If you use your original radio no programming is required.

There is a 6 Month warranty. NO security code is needed when you replace the cd drive. This will not trigger the security feature in your radio. You can remove and install this without your radio locking. You will need to remove the circuit board on your old mechanism which is a simple 2 screw process.
