This kit contains all the parts needed to fabricated your own log style turbo manifold for the Kent cross flow engine.

Kit includes:

1 x Kent crossflow header flange - 12mm thick laser cut

1 x T2 turbo flange (round hole to suit pipework) - 12mm thick laser cut & CNC drilled & tapped M8x1.25

1 x 200mm length of 1\" Sch10 pipe

2 x 1\" 90deg Sch10 elbows

2 x 1\" Sch10 tee pieces

1 x Sch10 transition piece from log to turbo flange

4 x Champion M8x1.25 studs with flange nuts

Basic assembly instructions

NOTE: All components except for studs are stainless steel


Material Specs -All bends and pipe = 1\" (25mm) nominal bore, schedule 10 pipe - 2.77mm wall thickness, 27.9mm pipe internal diameter.

All components supplied are grade 304 stainless steel including the header flange and turbo flange. If 304SS is not available for some of the bends, then either 316 or 321 will be supplied at no additional cost.


T2 turbo flange – designed to accept any turbo with a Garrett T2 exhaust flange such as the T2, T25 T28, GT25 and GT28 turbos or any of the numerous copies available.


Log style manifold– log style to keep the design simple, with the intention of keeping the fabrication costs low. A typical log style manifold like this will support approximately 250hp, so it\'s a good match for a modified turbo Kent cross flow which tend to max out at around 200hp-250hp. So a more intricate design tuned length manifold isn\'t required for most setups. Other benefits of the log style are small internal volume, sofast boost response, minimising turbo lag.


The photos of the fabricated Kent manifold in this listing show an earlier style manifold using a mild steel header flange, and a rectangular transition section from log to turbo flange.


2.77mm wall thickness pipe – this gives strength and structural integrity, reducing fatigue and therefore cracking. Thinner wall manifolds such as the typical 1.6mm SS manifolds often crack and need to be repaired.



12mm thick laser cut flanges– by using 12mm flanges, not only is it a stronger assembly, but more importantly the amount of warping during the welding process is minimised, as opposed to using the more common 10mm thick material. Yes 12mm costs a little more, but this is more than made up for in the reduction of machining required to make sure the header flange and turbo flange surfaces are flat after fabrication.
