This F-600 gauge cluster is by no means perfect . If you are looking for perfection, do not buy this gauge cluster, you will be disappointed!
This gauge cluster has numerous flaws and imperfections. I will use a simple rating system to describe the condition of this gauge cluster; bad, poor, fair, good and excellent. •This cluster has the original chrome and black paint on the front of the instrument cluster bezel. The condition of the chrome on the instrument cluster bezel is poor. It has numerous scratches, pin holes, rust spots, orange peel and is dull. The condition of the black paint on the instrument cluster bezel is poor. It has numerous areas of over spray, no paint, scratches, chips and is uneven in color and gloss. The back of the instrument cluster bezel has been cleaned and is in fair condition. •Foam triangles between the instrument cluster bezel and the glass are original.•The glass is in fair condition with numerous scratches. •The instrument cluster mask has been bead blasted and painted semi-gloss black on the front and matte clear on the back. Both sides are in good condition.
•The 4 small gauge faces are in fair condition with some faded areas. The speedometer face is in poor condition. It has an area around the needle hub and odometer where the paint is deteriorated. Please look at the close up picture of the speedometer. The gauge needles are in good condition. The gauges and voltage regulator were tested for functionality, but NOT for accuracy. •The instrument cluster back plate was bead blasted and painted flat white on the front and matte clear on the back. It is in good condition.•All of the incandescent bulbs have been replaced with LED lamps. •The wiper switch is in good condition. The wiper switch knob is the original and is in fair condition.•The electrical tape on the wiring harness was removed for cleaning and has been replaced with cable ties. This allows easy inspection of the condition of the wires.
