When replacing your stock pointsdistributor these may not line up with the same rotor location,you mayhave a new positionfor the#1 plug wire on the cap and have to adjust the other wires accordingly. Replace older mechanical voltage regulators to solid state (transistorized)regulators for best performance and to prevent ignition module failure.
