You are looking at a1969 Ford\"Boss\" 302Shortblock that I boughtthis as a complete fresh engine awhile back for a project that I have since sold.Ialreadysold the Top End off of this motor and I am now selling the shortblock. By the looks of the motor with the heads and pan off I believe it to be as advertised to me as afresh engine without a whole lot of time on it. It looks to be very clean inside. Please look at the pics and judge for yourself!!This was a complete running motor that had been re-blocked by a previous owner many years ago when the original one freeze cracked. This motor was re-blocked with a standard D9 2 bolt 302 Standard Bore Block. They put the original Boss 302 rotating assembly back in this block and even used the Ford Boss 302 Main Cap bolts with the Windage Tray mounting provisions.The original Boss 302 rotating assembly had a set of replacement TRW Forged pistons added to it and looks to have been; reassembled as a fresh rebuild and minimally run.The shortblock retains its original early C7FE Boss 302 Steel Crank, (I was told it was std/std, but I have not popped a main or rod cap off to check) original C3AE Boss 302 Rods with yellow paint daubs on them and standard bore TRW L2325 Forged pop up\'s.It also comes with a corect C9ZE Boss 302 Balancer and C9ZE Boss 302 Flywheel.
If you have been looking for a CORRECT Rotating Assembly for your 1969 Boss 302 or want a suitable spare to run while you leave the numbers matching engine safely wrapped up in the corner of the shop; then look no further.
