The Winterforce is Firestone\'s Studdable Winter / Snowtire designed for the owners of coupes, sedans and minivans. Available in P-metric and Euro-metric Standard Load or Extra Load sizes, Winterforce tires are fordrivers looking for traditional wintertime traction on dry, wet and snow-covered roads.
Firestone Winterforce radials share the tread design, compound, internal construction and dimensions of earlier Winterforce tires. This makes them fully compatible and allows them to be mixed and matched as necessary.
NOTE: Installing less than a complete set of new tires on four-wheel or all-wheeldrive vehicles may require that new tire(s) be shaved to the same tread depth as existing tires to minimize driveline wear and/or damage.
Firestone Winterforce winter / snow radials feature a winter tread compound molded into an aggressive directional tread pattern with tread blocks that are siped, stepped and/or can be studded to offer the biting edges necessary to provide traction in snowand on ice. Independent tread blocks feature high-density siping to enhance grip in loose snow while the intermediate and shoulder tread blocks are molded to accept studs that further enhance traction on hard-packed snow and ice. The tire\'s internal structure includes twin steel belts on top of a polyester carcass to combine strength with ride quality.
Winterforce winter / snow radials meetthe industry\'s severe snow service requirements and are branded with the mountain/snowflake symbol.
Install Winterforce tires in sets of four only.
Vehicles should always be equipped with equivalent tires at all wheel positions. Firestone Winterforce winter radials, due to their hard-packed snow andice traction when studded, must be used in sets of four to help ensure proper vehicle control.

The only downside is it does seem to decrease gas mileage, but it\'s a minimal change. The biggest issue with these tires is the noise, but it\'s completely worth it for the traction and stability these tires provide.

I used these on my old dodge minivan for 4 seasons and sold it with them on it they were still in good condition with about half treadlife left.buy them you won\'t be let down.
Review from April 18, 2016Rating: 8.8I do over 1,000 mile a week on my 2004 Dodge neon it has just under 600,000 miles it never got stuck in any snow or mud on road or off road, but I do run taller tires for clearance, 195 65 15, These tires are GREAT IN THE MUD AND SNOW!! 100% Also by Sand Lake Mich, very well in the sand too!!! I am never late or missed for weather related things every not even the great flood in Michigan in 2014 or some time in that range in Detroit! Mycousin and I went threw the Manistee National forest for over 5 hours and nevercame out of the woods ever, mud hill climb flooding, we came out on m115 by Mesick Mi. Also I went to my friends daughter grad. party he says that he had some bad times getting out with his Jeep for work! I set my GPS to his house, came tothis road it was flooded, we have had heavy rain in 2014, I looked at this road no wonder he had a hard time getting to work some time it was a swamp! So I surveyed the road, well nothing ventured nothing gained! I went up to the swamp put the 2004 Dodge Neon to the floor, and came out the other side un stuck and rolling and covered with mud ! People looked at me puzzled, and said where you comefrom, I said threw the road their why! They all where laughing because I was the first car ever to make it threw the swamp, I went buy a tractor 4X4 Kubota, Myfriend Frank asked did you see that tractor, I said yes, he said that is for pulling out stuck cars, and 4x4 trucks out of the road you just came threw! Every body was laughing, I was the life of the Grad. party after that! The only thing with these tires is grooved pavement because of all the sipping it throws you a round like a slot car on a track! BUT THESE TIRES ARE THE BEST TIRE I USED YET I AM A GOOD TIRE TESTER I DO A LOT OF DRIVING!
