HHR now offersthe primary cat delete for the 955/957 (2003-2010) Cayenne Turbo and Cayenne Turbo S. The primary cat is replaced with straight through 3" downpipes.
These downpipes reduce the backpressure from the turbos and allow your turbos to spool nearly instantaneously, getting your Cayenne into the power band quickly. In addition, the downpipes increase low-end, mid-range and peak horsepower and can expect to see an approx. 40 hp, 40 ft. lbs. of torque gain from this bolt-on item without an ECU tune and even greater performance after an ECU tune. Even without an ECU tune, the primary cat delete develops 1.1 PSI of additional boost. The factory ECU recognizes the modification and provides more power without an ECU tune (we were a bit surprised about this also).
The primary cat deletes/downpipes are handmade in Denver, Colorado. The tubing and flanges are made from 304 stainless steel. We use a 3" 16 gauge mandrel bend tubing which mates up to the turbos and secondary cat. The flanges are 3/8 inch 304 stainless steel, CAD-designed to match Porsche specifications and are precision waterjet-cut in our own facility.We include 4 O2 sensor fittings, identical to the factory setup.We ship this product with O2 simulators to help manage check-engine-light issues.
We believe this is a more complex install, however, can be a DIY project. Porsche specs this at 120 minutes per side for installation.
