To originate a new master key you will need to utilize diagnostic equipment
To add duplicate keys ( 2 working keys required)
Insert the first existing key and turn to the “on” position and then back to “off”
Remove the first existing key and insert the second existing key turn to the “on” position and then back to the “off” position. THIS MUST BE DONE WITIN 5 SECONDS
Insert a new key for programming THIS MUST BE DONE WITHIN 10 SECONDS. Keep the key in the “on” position for one second and then return to “off”
The dashboard security light will come on for 3 seconds to confirm successful programming
When programming Ford Focus, Ford Escape or Mazda Tribute keys it is necessary to leave the key in the ignition for 10 Minutes before attempting to start the vehicle or program an additional key.
