If you’ve ever run an Edelbrock Streetmaster, you know what they deliver. Low end torque at least the equal of a Performer, a mid-range way better than a Torker, and gas mileage almost the equal of your factory manifold. While all this is going on, you’re losing the weight of that cast iron anchor on top of your engine. Streetmaster's put out higher average HP than any other manifold. They start coming on at idle speed and just keep going. Streetmaster's have a relatively small plenum and smallish runners that keep velocity of the charge exceptionally high and keep the gas/air mixture in suspension. Edelbrock spent a lot of time playing with these manifolds. One of the tricks they came up wih was the grooves that were shaped into the runners. They add a bit of turbulence and help keep the air/fuel mixture in suspension. They're clearly visible in any of the pictures showing the runners and the last picture is a close up of one of them. I honestly believe Edelbrock dropped the Streetmaster line because they could make more money by selling Torkers and Performers, neither of which have the power curve of Streetmaster's.
This one is for a big block 351M/400 Ford. This is one of the nicest ones of these I’ve ever seen. Unlike most of these that show up on , there’s no paint hiding the defects. There’s no stripped threads, and it’s almost erosion free. That, by itself, is a rarity. Unless you can turn up a brand new one, you will simply not find one better than this. It has just been media blasted. There are not a lot of high performance intake manifold choices out there for the 351M/400 engines, and this is the very best. It is far stronger than a Performer, and will deliver mid range and top end that a Performer never could without losing anything at the low end. These are good from idle to about 6200 rpm. As you’ll see in my disclosures below, there just are no flaws. Take a look at the big pictures I gave you. I’ll let this manifold sell itself. Compare it with any other you might find on . Also make note of what they don't tell or show you. This one’s a winner. This manifold is set up for EGR, but the ports have been plugged. If you need to run EGR for vehicle inspection, just remove the plugs. It also comes with the choke cover shown in the first 2 pictures.

I’d rather you get it from me than when the item arrives at your door and you find a bunch of things the seller never told you about. I believe in being honest about what I sell. That’s why my over 1750 responses are 100% positive. This manifold looks about new. There are no, cracks, or repairs needed on this manifold. I examine the manifolds I sell very carefully and I’d rather dump a manifold than sell junk. Unlike many others, there is no JB weld filling in flaws on anything I sell. I chase and check all the threads on every manifold I sell, and that includes the big pipe threads. All the threads on this manifold are in excellent condition and tight. Other than one of the rear block offs, there's virtually no erosion at the water ports or block offs (Very rare!) and I’ve given you pictures of it. Others hide the defects from you. I provide lots of big pictures (14 of them in this case) so you can see exactly what you’re offerding on. Take a good look at them. There’s nothing hidden. This manifold looks like new.
