Epic Drifts is proud to announce the release of the all new Epic Drift Pro Model drift trike. Every stage of producing these machines is performed in our 13,000 square foot facility. From the tig-welding of our chromoly tubular frames, in our state of the art CAD designed frame fixtures, to the powder coating and assembly, we are a one stop shop for drift trike manufacturing, but it doesn\'t stop there. Our CNC department is currently running around the clock, producing every part from one end of the axle to the other, and everything in between. Although operating our own CNC equipment allows for the ED, Epic Drift, branding of all parts used to assemble, the main focus is to monitor the output, resulting in higher tolerance racing/turning components...whichinevitably allows our machines to operate and drift smoother than anything on the market today! One word pretty much sums it up...EPIC!
For those of you that are new to this idea/sport of \"drift triking\", here\'s the concept. We engineered our frames to sit a mere 2 inches from the concrete, while also recessing the seat as low as possible. This, combined with running a 40 inch wide aluminum axle and racing slicks, sleeved with high density pvc, allows the 6.5HP engine to ROAST those sleeves when you\'re making your turns around street corners or on an actual track. With this, the \"drift trike\" concept was born! These make for a great drift training tool due to them being rear wheel drive and are fun for all sizes and ages...all ages that can reach the handle bars that is.
What makes an EPIC DRIFT Pro Model drift trike better than the rest?
Ahhh...we never thought you\'d ask! We\'d much rather tell you about them over the phone but here goes nothing...
-6.5HP Predator 212cc 4-stroke engine (2 year warranty) with centrifugal clutch and custom exhaust with baffle (sounds AMAZING)
-SUPER FAT 26\" x 3.5\" front road tire (not to be confused with the knobby tires that others are running...good luck walking a smooth drift with those!)
-MADE IN THE USA, Double-walled, black anodized, stainless steel spoked, aluminum front wheel/rim with quick release
-Full ATV front and rear hydraulic disc brakes (no mechanical bike brakes here!)
-Full chromoly tubular frame produced in our CAD designed frame fixtures WITH leg protector bars and designed to sit just 2 inches above the concrete (this should be obvious...the lower the seat and the wider the wheel base, the lesser the chance of turnover). We run wider axles and wider rear wheels and sit lower than anything on the market so buy with confidence.
-CNC lathe machined stem for fork which is 100% unique to the competition and provides the cleanest turning handle bars on the market due to high speed, sealed ball bearings, pressed into the frame
-CNC machined ED Bar Clamp
-CNC machined ED 1 1/4\" aluminum axle
-CNC machined, ED axle components (wheel hubs, sprocket hub, brake hub, etc)
-CNC machined, ED chain guide to prevent any chance of chain derail
-CNC machined, ED billet aluminum cable clamps to guide cables down the frame...GORGEOUS! (not zip ties like the others)
-CNC machined, ED billet aluminum kill switch housing neatly located beneath the riders seat for those \"just in case\" scenarios (A MUST HAVE for ANYTHING with a motor!)
-CNC water jet cut, and press braked (for added strength) ED branded, bearing and brake hangers
-1 1/4\" sealed axle bearings mounted in CNC machined, black anodized, aluminum bearing cassettes (not cheesy steel flangettes or cheap, ugly bearing blocks like the others use)
-Epic Drift custom molded and chopped seat
-Adjustable seat rails allowing for up to 6\" of seat travel(All the way forward was designed for 5\' riders and just 3 inches back works for 6\'2\" riders...with another 3 inches to go...you do the math!)
