B&B (Billy Boat) multi-piece race headers for a 03-06 Dodge Viper (this is what their website lists but they may fit others). These list for $3500 new. They measure 1.67 on the first section and 1.77 on the secondary step (1 5/8\" and 13/4\") with a 3.0\" ID merge collector outlet and a 3.70 OD for the V-band clamp. I bought these used for a potential Viper engine in \'70 Cuda project but I\'ve moved to something else. The headers themselves are a work of art. The TIG welds are beautiful and the inside of the merge collector is straight from F1. The merge collector is separate and joins with a bridge bracket.
The bad:
- At some point they were ceramic coated and some of the areas are pealing, see pictures.
- There is one dent at the bottom of a pipe near the collector, would be easy to heat up and pop out.
- There is an area that looks like it was slightly dimpled to clear steering linkage. I thought the tube was kinked but after screwing them to a 2X4 all the flanges sit flat. It might come from B&B this way but I don\'t have a Viper to verify. Image 9 shows the area. If you have a Viper then it probably makes sense.
What you see is what you get. If the setup comes with other parts from B&B I don\'t have them.
