No longer do you have to put up with the vehicles computer keeping your vehicle quiet under varying conditions by opening and closing the electronically controlled restrictive exhaust butterfly valves located just in front of the rear drive axle on the driver and passenger side exhaust pipes. Until now, simply disconnecting the wire to the active exhaust valve motors or removing the fuse generates fault codes and illuminates the check engine light! Frustrating! This simulator kit was developed to mimic the OEM exhaust valve and solve this problem. You simply remove the driver and passenger side OEM exhaust valve motor and install them on to the simulators. The simulators open and close stop points are specifically calibrated to match the OEM exhaust valve. The computer therefore thinks the exhaust valve is operating normally and generates no codes or check engine lights thanks to the simulator! A red lock pin is then mounted to the OEM exhaust valve keeping the restrictive exhaust butterfly open at all times. You are now in control of the full roar of the exhaust 100% of the time and bypassing the control by the vehicles computer. That is how a hot rod SHOULD be!
