    • US Mail Priority International - Will cost more initially but the brokerage, taxes, duties, and other such fees due upon delivery will be lower. Has a relatively small weight and dminesion limit for shipments.
    • Typically, the TOTAL COST when shipping US Mail Priority International (aka US Postal Service or USPS) is less costly than UPS because the fees paid at the destination are lower HOWEVER, it costs more to ship the item up front. UPS on the other hand may have a lower initial shipping cost but the fees due on delivery can be very high.
    • The fees for brokerage, duties, and taxes in your country are beyond our control.
    • Many non-US customers still PREFER to pay more for UPS because the tracking system is superior to US Mail as is their insurance policy and coverage for lost or damaged items. Even though US Mail is significantly less costly, the added peace of mind knowing that your product has better insurance and is much more easily found and followed during shipment is worth the added cost for many buyers.

Returns and Exchanges - Get an RMA # !!!

Everything we sell is Brand New so our return policy is a straight forward, customer friendly, common sense approach to doing business. We will take back any item within 30 days of purchase as long as it is within the constraints of the manufacturer's warranty and return policy, which we are obligated to honor. ***See Important Notes and Return Procedure Below for Details.

***IMPORTANT NOTES AND RETURN PROCEDURE:

  • You MUST Have A Return Authorization Number:
    • ALL Returns Must have a Return Authorization Number (RMA Number) in order to be processed - NO EXCEPTIONS.
    • You MUST email us for an RMA number BEFORE You Send Anything Back.
    • Items without an RMA number can take 2 months or longer to process if at all; if you send an item back without an RMA number you may NEVER receive a refund because we may not be able to identify your item.
    • Be sure the RMA # is clearly posted ON THE LABEL, NOT ON THE BOX, along with your name and address.
  • Time Limit(s):
    • Returns or Exchanges will NOT be accepted after 30 days.
  • Product Condition:
    • Returns and Exchanges are only accepted in the same condition as they were shipped - Brand New, Unused, Never Installed, Complete, and in the Original Packaging.
    • We are unable to accept any item that has been installed, modified, missing parts, is damaged, is not in the original packaging or where the original packaging has been damaged, written on, or taped with other than packaging tape (DO NOT Use Duct Tape or Masking Tape When Returning an Item!).
    • Items returned in not-new condition will not be credited.
  • Electrical Parts:
    • Electrical Parts and Accessories that have been plugged in or unsealed for ANY reason are not elligible for return.
  • Tuners and Programmers:
    • Tuners and Programmers LOCK themselves to the Vehicle VIN number when they are installed. Every tuner and programmer is tested by the manufacturer for VIN lock when it is returned.
    • If you return a tuner or programmer that is VIN locked, you will be charged an UNLOCK FEE of $200 to restore the tuner to the Unlocked condition.
    • Once the tuner is sent to the manufacturer for testing, it cannot be sent back to you again so MAKE ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that any tuner or programmer you return is NOT VIN LOCKED!
  • Re-Stocking / Re-Packaging Fees:
    • and PayPal charge us between 10% and 15% on every item sold from our store. If you return an item and we are not able to get these fees back, these fees will be deducted from any refund.
    • All returned items are sent back to the corresponding item manufacturer to test and inspect the item and make sure the item is re-sellable as new; sometimes manufacturers charge a fee of up to 20% for this and this fee will be deducted from any refund.
    • If an item requires re-packaging or is missing any parts that have to be put back in order to be re-sellable as new, the corrsponding fees will be deducted from any refund.
  • Return Shipping:
    • Our Error - We will issue a return label if we make a mistake on a shipment.
    • Customer Error - You the customer are responsible for return shipping costs for all other reasons including but not limited to:
      • Ordered the wrong item
      • No longer want the item
      • Didn't realize there would be a signature required
      • Not being available to accept delivery
      • Unexpected customs fees, taxes, duties, or brokerage
    • Any item(s) returned to us must be fully insured during shipment; you the customer are responsible for providing shipping insurance that covers the full price of any item(s) being returned.
  • Original Shipping Costs:
    • Our FREE Shipping promotions are promotions where the item's price at the time of sale INCLUDES the cost of shipping.
    • When a return or exchange is requested due to any error by the customer or simply no longer wanting the item, the original cost to ship the item will NOT be refunded.

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the California Air Resources Board (CARB) are actively investigating the sale and use of certain aftermarket performance parts. These investigations appear to involve all levels of the performance industry, including the manufacturers of these parts, wholesale distributors, retail dealers, and even the END USERS of these products.

So Cal Performance and associated group of companies takes compliance with the applicable state and federal emissions regulations very seriously and we know that you do too. For that reason, So Cal Performance and our associated companies would like to take this opportunity to remind you of the regulatory requirements associated with the sale and use of aftermarket performance parts.

State and federal emissions regulations establish three basic categories of aftermarket parts based on their potential to affect emissions from regulated highway and off-road vehicles: (1) Replacement parts; (2) Executive Order or EPA-approved parts; and (3) Competition-only parts. As is explained below, different requirements apply to the sale and use of parts in each of these categories.

1 - Replacement parts generally include aftermarket parts that are designed to OEM specifications, such that installation of the part does not increase vehicle emissions from what they would have been using the OEM part. Parts like lighting accessories, gauges, and decorative body parts that do not affect the vehicle's emissions are also considered replacement parts. Replacement parts may be lawfully sold and installed on the emissions-controlled vehicles for which they are intended.

2 - Executive Order and/or EPA-Approved parts are aftermarket parts that could adversely affect the emissions of a vehicle relative to the manufacturer's original design, but that have been specifically approved by either CARB or the EPA for sale and use on emissions-controlled vehicles based on test data demonstrating that use of the parts will not cause the vehicles to violate the applicable emissions standards. These parts may be lawfully sold and installed on the emissions-controlled vehicles identified in the applicable CARB Executive Order.

3 - Competition-only parts are very different, and you should take special care in advertising, selling, or installing these parts. Competition-only parts are aftermarket parts that could adversely affect the emissions of a vehicle, and that have not been approved by CARB or the EPA for sale and/or use on emissions-controlled vehicles. Competition-only parts may be sold for use and installation only on vehicles that are used solely for competition in closed-course racing events. The sale and use of these parts on any emission-controlled vehicle violates state and federal laws and regulations. This includes "dual-use" vehicles that may be used in racing events but that may also be used for non-racing purposes. It also includes "off-road" vehicles, which are now subject to emissions standards. Even advertising competition-only parts for use on regulated motor vehicles violates state and federal regulations. Violations resulting from the improper advertising, sale, and use of these parts are a serious matter, punishable by substantial fines, recall requirements, and other enforcement measures. While competition-only parts may lawfully be sold for installation and use on vehicles used exclusively for competition, this is a narrow category of vehicles and we urge you to take all reasonable steps to ensure that if we are selling you a competition-only part that you are in fact going to be using it in colpiance with the law and only in legally sanctioned closed-course racing events. Remember, compliance is YOUR responsibility.

So Cal Performance and our affilated companies are taking additional steps to assist you in your compliance efforts. On our websites and our paperwork we are clearly stating that ALL PARTS are competition only parts unless specifically labelled and identified by the manufacturer as 1 - Replacement, or 2 - EPA approved parts. We have added a competition-only printed notice on the invoice for your recordes as well.
