Detomaso Pantera Seat Belt Set from 1972
This sale is for a used seat belt set removed from a 1972 De Tomaso Pantera. These seat belts have retractors that mount on the floor and firewall area. They also have a mounting point indicated by the chrome pieces that attach to the firewall behind the seats. The sale includes everything shown in the photos. Sorry, I do not have the mounting bolts. The fabric portions of the belts appear to be in good shape. The mechanisms appear to work as they should. The metal rocker panel inserts have a small cut in them for some reason that I can’t explain. You can see them in these photos:
Since these pieces appear to have been installed under the carpet at one time, cut in the metal would have no adverse effect on how they function.
The metal attachment points for the seat belts where they mount to the floor near the center console have a bit of surface rust on them but would clean up nicely after a few minutes on a wire wheel. You can see it in this photo:
