This Cadillac SRX hitch is stringently tested in accordance with SAE J684 to ensure a weight carrying capacity of 5,000 lbs. gross trailer weight and 500 lbs. tongue weight. It is compatible with a weight distribution hitch to provide more stable towing and a weight distribution rating of 6,000 lbs. WD and 600 lbs. WDTW. It also features a 2 receiver tube opening to accept ball mount or other hitch accessory with a 2 x 2 shank.

CUSTOM WIRING HARNESS (4-WAY FLAT OUTPUT)
A CURT custom wiring connector (sometimes called a T-connector) is a simple, plug-and-play electrical device that eliminates the need for cutting, splicing and soldering when installing vehicle-to-trailer wiring.
Most vehicles do not come ready to tow. Unless your vehicle has a towing package, it is probably not equipped with a trailer wiring connector. This is where CURT\'s custom wiring connectors come into play. A custom wiring connector uses a single original equipment plug to plug into a special socket provided by your vehicle. Though this option is not available on every vehicle, some automotive manufacturers design their vehicles to be easily equipped for towing by supplying a socket, integrated into the vehicle\'s electrical system, to readily accept a custom wiring connector. With a CURT custom wiring connector, there is no need to tap into the taillight assembly because a special socket is already provided.
This custom wiring connector provides a 4-way flat connector socket and is designed to be a custom wiring option for certain years of the Cadillac SRX (to verify your vehicle compatibility, see the CURT application guide at curtmfg.com). CURT custom wiring connectors are designed to be long-lasting and simple to install. Having a trailer ball that matches your coupler size is absolutely essential. At CURT, our trailer balls are engineered to be precisely fitted. When we stamp 1-7/8 into the top of each hitch ball, we actually mean 1-7/8.

It is able to tow most utility trailers, boat trailers, campers, smaller livestock trailers and some recreational vehicle haulers (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest weight capacity of any towing component; i.e. the vehicle, hitch, trailer, etc). As with any trailer, be sure that your towing equipment is capable of handling the load before hitching up. This trailer ball also features a 1 shank diameter, a 2-1/8 shank length, 0 of rise and a nickel-chrome finish to protect against corrosion and wear. 5/8 HITCH PIN
When you mount a ball mount on your trailer hitch, you expect it to stay put. Whatever type of load you are hauling, having towing equipment that can work as hard as you do is a must. For all types of heavy-duty towing, CURT 5/8 hitch pins and clips pack a little extra punch. We make our 5/8 hitch pins out of solid steel and coat them in one of four finish options. All of these finishes offer excellent resistance to rust and corrosion for long-lasting, smooth operation. CURT hitch pins are also constructed with a 105-degree bend, creating a useful handle for a better grip and allowing the pin to stay securely engaged in the trailer hitch and ball mount.
This particular 5/8 hitch pin features a zinc finish and comes with a standard retainer hole to accept the included clip. It provides reliable installation for any ball mount or hitch-mounted accessory with a 2 shank, making it the perfect fit for class 3, 4 and 5 trailer hitches.
