How Much Can You Safely Tow?
CURT Manufacturing recommends the use of hitches showing a weight distributing (WD) rating when carrying a personal mobility vehicle (power wheel chair, scooter, etc.). Use of a lower capacity hitch may void warranty and could result in damage to both the carried and carrying vehicles.
It is very important to review an operator's manual before purchasing a towing system. Your vehicle manual has helpful information about your vehicle's capabilities and limitations. You also need to be aware of the different laws and restrictions which exist when you tow from state to state. The State Patrol is a good resource for information.

Sales Tax: For shipments to Wisconsin addresses, we are required by State law to collect 5% Sales Tax.
Shipping:Most orders will be delivered in 3-5 business days. Please allow up to 10 business days for your item to be delivered. The items are often drop shipped from the factory so tracking information is not available right away. We receive tracking numbers between 3 to 5 days after the order has been processed. Tracking numbers will NOT automatically be posted to your PayPal account. If you have not received your item within 3 to 5 business days after completing payment, we ask that you send an email requesting your tracking number. Also, please note that if you order more than one item, they may ship from different locations and arrive at different times.
We have a warehouse in Canada we ship from. Your phone number is REQUIRED. However, in rare cases your item will ship from the United States. You agree that you may be subject to additional duties, charges, fees, costs and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches Canada. These charges are your responsibility; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they will be.
We ship to street addresses only (sorry no P.O. Boxes) within the 48 states and District of Columbia. Sorry, we do not ship directly to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, Mexico, U.S. Virgin Islands or Military APO/FPO addresses.

We do accept returns at Trends Automotive. Any returned merchandise must be in its original packaging and condition. There will be a 50% re-stocking fee applied for any items returned that are not in its original packaging and condition, or if they are returned without an RMA number. Returns may be accepted on installed items with a 50% re-stocking fee. Please note the following:
Unless our company is in error or the listing is in error, the customer is responsible for paying return shipping costs, the original shipping costs, and a 15% restocking fee.
