Short throw shifter kit for OE replacement on 4 or 5 speed manual trans in:
- 1982-1986 Jeep CJ series
ONLY FITS T4 & T5 manual trans specific to CJ
- Does NOT FIT 6 cyl w/ optional T176 4 speed, Wrangler, Cherokee, AMC Eagle, or any other model
- IF YOU HAVE A 2\"+ BODY LIFT: an extension bracket may be needed to elevate stick
- 5 speed knob is default; if you have a 4 speed, specify w/ order
Kit includes a Hurst chrome stick (# 6900) & classic knob, Core Shifters base, mounting hardware, dust cover boot, and installation instructions. Lower bushing cup available separately if desired. Bulk parts; no retail pkg. Comparable to discontinued Hurst # 3915045. Throw is reduced by ~ 25%
