The ExtremeContact DWS (DWS for Dry, Wet & Snow) is Continental\'s Ultra High Performance All-Season radial developed for drivers of sports cars, sports coupes, performance sedans and sport trucks. The ExtremeContact DWS is designed to satisfy their year-round driving needs by blending dry and wet road performance with light snow and slush traction.
ExtremeContact DWS features an advanced silica-based, high-grip, all-season tread compound molded into a unique asymmetrical tread design with stable shoulder blocks and a continuous, notched intermediate rib on the outboard side to enhance responsiveness and cornering stability. The center of the tread features independent blocks separated by high-angle, crisscross grooves to provide the biting edges necessary to deliver wet road and light snow traction while independent inboard shoulder blocks help disperse water to further enhance hydroplaning resistance and foul weather traction.

I don\'t drive the car very hard but when I do, these tires are wonderful. Feel great when you put them on and looking its been around 18 mos and I hardly notice that its been that long. Theseare a great buy and TireRack has never let me down (10 yrs now.)
Review from September 1, 2015Rating: 1.62I am in the middle of changing these awful tires from my Lexus. I originally bought these 4 tires in 2011. Almost immediately I noticed more road noises and vibrations than my OEM tires. The carsare veering to more right on the highway. I never got to enjoy the smoothness and comfort of my Lexus because of these awful tires. I overpaid for these tires because of an excellent review in tire rack and I was extremely disappointed.I am finally replacing these tires, because the wear on them were very fast andthe road noises and vibration were too much to handle. If you own Lexus, do not buy Continental DWS. You are better off buying paying less and getting more from almost any other brand tires.
Review from August 26, 2015Rating: 8.75Tire wares nicely. However, I had one of them blow up in less than 10K driven miles and one year in service. Thread on the tire look good and I did not hit anything on the road, so I assume thatthere could have been some manufacturing deffect.
