Brand New Contactless Magnetic TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) FIX Faulty Volvo ETM throttles 99-02 Turbo & NON TurboLowest Price on Plus shipping to any country!Due to many questions, if software reload is needed after replacing the TPS: No software reloadis needed if you fix your own ETM that was taken from your car.i'll explain: the ETM receives signals from the TPS, which let it know theposition of the throttle plate, these are analog signals,the ETM doesn't know if they are from magnetic TPS (non-contact)or carbon resistor film TPS (with-contact), both are Potentiometers.
BTW, an engine stall at the middle of driving can happen if the throttle plate is Very dirty
if you have a Volvo S60, V70, S70, C70 or S80 from the years 1999-2002. (please make sure that your ETM is made byMagneti-Marelli & not by Bosch, because this TPS won't fit the Bosch ETM, the Bosch has only 1 TPS & theMagneti-Marelli has 2 TPS, so it's easy to tell)you probably have a faulty ETM (Electronic Throttle Body) made by Magneti-Marelli, actually it's only the TPS that is faulty due to Film Carbon Resistor Potentiometer that becomes Worn by the wiper finger that moves across it (see on the picture the holes made by the wipers)
