This is a custom built Stand Alone Fan Harness made to retrofit your 1999 to 2006 Silverado & Sierra body style trucks and SUVs with OEM style electric engine cooling fans. Adding an electric fan set up to your truck is a great upgrade for your truck because it provides maximum cooling for your engine without robbing horsepower from your engine like a mechanical fan does. The harness includes a custom relay & circuit breaker center which mounts to your original fuse box housing (see photos). The installation is simple. You just need to mount the relay center to your fuse box cover with the provided hardware and then connect a power wire, ground wire, two ECM control wires and then plug the two fan plugs to a set of 2005 or newer GM truck electric fans.
When properly programmed when FAN 1 is activated you will get both fans on LOW speed and when both FAN 1 and FAN 2 are activated you will get both fans on at HIGH speed.
The OEM fan assemblies only fit the 34" wide radiators. If you have a truck with a different width radiator then you will also need to upgrade your radiator. We offer the OEM dual fan assemblies and radiators. If you need either to complete your package ...just ask! OurStock # JCTFN1 GG
PLEASE NOTE: All 01 & newer Silverado and Sierra trucks & SUVs with GASOLINE engines can control the electric fans through their original ECM, but you will have to have someone with a "tuner" turn them on for you. We can not guarantee the fan controls will work correctly in 1999 and 2000 vehicles and we do not provide support for diesel engine applications.
