Once again Procharger debuts thefirst supercharger for a new model,the 2016-2023 Chevy Camaro SS LT1!Withthis kit, and upgrading to an F-1Ahead unit you can reach that elusive1,000 horsepower! (Some othermodifications would be needed suchas camshaft, headers, fuel system,etc.)

Since the releaseof the C7 Corvette a few years ago,and new GM LT-1 Trucks and SUV\'sshortly after, adding superchargedboost to this new direct injectionLT-1 engine has become mainstream.Thanks to highly efficientProCharger head-units and air-to-airintercoolers, creating superchargedmonsters ranging from 650HP to amind bending 1,200HP has become thenew \"normal.\" With that being said,it\'s our pleasure to announce thatthe new 2016-2023 Camaro SS can now beadded to the list of ProChargerblown LT-1\'s.
ATI designed the 2016-2023 Camaro SSHOIntercooled System to be equallycompatible with both stock ormodified vehicles out of the gate,with a robust billet bracket designthat utilizes strategic mountingpoints on the LT1 motor for maximumbracket strength and integrity. Thissystem will firmly hold ProChargerhead units ranging in size from theentry-level P-1SC-1 all the way upto an F-1A-94. No removal of any OEMparts is needed with this bracketinstallation, which not only speedsup the install, but it also ensuresthat all factory braking, cooling,and oiling systems on the car workjust as GM intended.
With only 7 psi on pump gas your2016-2023 Camaro SS can enjoy a gainof150+ HP, thanks to our HOIntercooled System with P-1SC-1 headunit. This complete intercooledsystems comes with our proven tuningcalibrations and a handheldprogrammer, making DIY installs abreeze. Higher boost levels andhorsepower gains of up to 50% arepossible with an intercooled tunerkit and custom tuning, and evenhigher with modified motors. Forhyper-custom racing builds, F-Seriessupercharger models up to the recordsetting F-1A-94 can be installedwithout the need for trimming oradditional brackets, contact us fordetails.
Using a robust billet bracket systemwith a dedicated belt drive andpatented crank pulley design, we areable to secure a 7.65\" superchargerdrive pulley onto the factoryharmonic balancer. The ProChargercrank pulley works by using a systemof \"cam-locks\" to securely grip thefactory balancer, taking the loadoff the crank bolt ensuring years ofservice without worry. Check out thepictures above for a diagram of thecrank pulley kit.
Combining this 7.65\" crank pulleywith the robust ProCharger tensionernear the supercharger pulley, thesystem was designed for maximum beltwrap. This ensures consistent belttraction for both the factory 7 psisystem offering and higher boostlevels on modified vehicles. Withthe best belt wrap possible,ProCharger\'s tensioner is unique inthat it is spring loaded, but alsoallows the customer to add as muchpre-load adjustment as they wantinto the belt. This tensioner hasalready been proven in similarapplications to support 1300+horsepower when used with dedicated8-rib belts–so handling the factory7 psi is no stress at all. Plus itmakes the kit upgrade-able forfuture modifications and ridiculouspower levels.
This system was also designed to bethe easiest complete Camarosupercharger system install EVER!With just a 5-6 hour install timeany competent gear head can do theinstall over the weekend, and youcan change the pulley and 8-rib beltwithout removing the bracket or thesupercharger, making track days abreeze!
Another great ProCharger feature arethe world class, applicationspecific intercooler options. GMspent a great deal of time on theairflow design of this new CamaroSS, from the new front fascia to thethree front mounted radiators. Withthis in mind, ProChargerspecifically designed two differentintercoolers for the 2016-2023 Camaro\'shorsepower and cooling needs.Starting with a fresh core design,the cross flow section of theintercooler core was increased insize to eliminate pressure drop asmuch as possible, while stillretaining cooling capacity. Thestandard kit comes with the HOintercooler, with an availableoption to upgrade to the Stage 2intercooler.
HO Intercooler = 432 cubic inches ofcooling core (Perfect for the basekit at 7 psi up to about 10 psi)
Stage 2 Intercooler = 756 cubicinches of cooling core (Designed forcustom builds and modified enginesrunning larger head units or highboost levels)
Neither intercooler option requiresany cooling systems to be removed onthis new Camaro. These superchargerkits will come with one piece ofpreformed-silicone charge tubingfrom the intercooler to throttlebody. This helps create the bestairflow possible and also eliminatesany chance of rattles or vibrationscaused by metal tubing in tightspaces (such as around theheadlamps). The added insulation ofsilicone helps to cool the aircharge inside the tubing around theCamaro\'s hot radiators, one of thebiggest advantages of a ProChargerintercooled supercharger system.
