Selling a CHRYSLER PLYMOUTH PROWLER PISTON PROMOTIONAL PRESS KIT.
These were given out 20 YEARS AGO to journalists, and a SPECIAL selected FEW by Chrysler to promote its new vehicle, THE PROWLER. It was also meant to help revive some interest in the sagging Plymouth brand. These were NEVER given to the public at large and were NEVER sold by Chrysler.
Chrysler had some of the most interesting and unique Press Kits out there and this is one of their VERY BEST. It consists of the following: a medium sized plastic Prowler car, a purple Prowler pin, a brochure that features nice photos and words to promote its new model by saying, \"Plymouth Prowler. You either getit or you don\'t\". And, \"Prowler is an unabashed tribute to an original American art form\". The car itself comes in a grey felt drawstring bag with a white card and the \"Prowler\" name and \"slinking cat\" logo on it.And this is all wrapped up in a special cylinder container with piston engine graphics on the outside and the words \"Plymouth Prowler\" and the Plymouth Prowler hood piece also shown.
These were RARE when they were new and even MORE IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND NOW. They are NEVER SOLD on Ebay anymore or anywhere else.
Also, many kits out there are incomplete or damaged. This kit has EVERYTHING that was originally included and in good condition. The eight inch container itself is also in good condition.
This is a PERFECT item for the TRUE Prowler lover or the Mopar collector out there. Its also good for those who want to own FACTORY PROMOTIONAL ITEMS FROM THE 20thCENTURY. Keep in mind that GM or Ford never put out Press Kits like this!!DON\'T LET THIS ONE GET AWAY. When its gone, its gone.
