Here's the original formed bypass heater hose for LS1, LS2, LS3, L92, L99, LS6,
LS7, LSA, L76 with stock water pumps. These engines are found in
corvettes, camaro's, firebird's, gto's, SSR's, CTS-V, G8 GT's, SUV's,
Silverado's and Sierra's. These vehicles come with metal/rubber heater
hoses. If you have removed you heater core for weight reduction, engine
swaps or other modifications. This is the hose you need to get. I sell these
to compliment our heater delete panels for LSX equipped cars. If you
bend a straight short section of heater hose it will kink and restrict
the flow of coolant. Too long will cause the bend to be too big and rub on the frame. The water pump fittings are
different sizes. The hose ends are 5/8" and 3/4" which is an exact fit.
If you use a 5/8" hose it'll be too tight on the 3/4" fitting. This stretching of the hose can split and cause a leak. If you use a 3/4' hose it'll be too loose on the 5/8" fitting. You'll have to over tighten the clamp which will cut into the hose. This will eventually cause the hose to leak. Our hose is a perfect fit. No trimming needed. You can even use the stock
clamps. Last thing you want is a cooling problem. We make heater delete panels for many cars and trucks. Please visit our
