The skip shift is the annoying 1 to 4 shift that forces theshifter to move into 4th gear instead of 2nd when shifting at slow speeds. Thisstops the shifter from moving on it\'s own. This will not cause a SES (ServiceEngine Soon) light, but the CAGS light will still light when the computer deemsthe shift is necessary.
