All you need to do is get us your roof. We will re-lens it with the nicest lens possible, and ship it back to you ready for install. This is the cheapest, easiest solution to replace your worn or damaged roof, provided by a reliable GM Licensed Manufacturer! About our lenses-Think Oakley(us) vs gas station sunglasses(them). You get what you pay for, and the same goes for these lenses. Our lenses all come with a patented SAR (Super Abrasion Resistant) hard coating, similar to what GM used, that not only protects your roof against years of haze incurred by dry wiping, it also extends the life of the lens by protecting the plastic form harsh elements. Plastic is cheap- High end coated plastic is not. As a GM licensed builder and manufacturer we only carry the best plastic available to us.
Photos- The pictures of the lenses with the marks are for representative purposes only to give you an idea of what you may receive. You will not receive the exact lens pictured. These defects are usually minor and unnoticeable to the untrained eye. Most often we have to point them out for the buyer to see. They may range fromdust specs in the hard coating, minor heat impression or dimple, or very light scratch. Flaws will not affect safety standards or lifetime performance. Turn around time will be about 2-3 days.

It's just not practical any more to install a $1000or moreroof on a 100,000+ mile C4 Corvette. It's also not practical for us, as a manufacturer to throw away a perfectly good lensif it has a minor imperfection.So, these lenses are offered to you at deep discounts. Instructions after purchase-
- Purchase this item and send your roof here-Melrose T-Top Int, 100 W Ellwalk, Cortland, IL 60112(please call if your roof flew off the car as we can't rebuild a roof with a cracked frame)
- Print a copy of your auction and send with roof. The more information the better. We receive onaverage 30 roofs a week so don'tlet yours get lost in the mix. Include your name, phone number, e-mail
- Indicate your choice of color, factory blue or bronze tint. We will match up your color if you don't indicate one.
- We will installthe new lens to factory specs (usually 2-3 day to rebuild and dry before we can ship)
- We ship roof back to you- You are responsible for shipping us your roof.
- Install your brand new looking roof.
Options-
- Side weatherstrips are availableat your request for $30 each installed. Please Include a check if you want this option.
Shipping tips-
We understand these roofs are large and awkward. Try to avoid large boxes filled with bubble wrap and styrofoam peanuts. Peanuts just take up a lot of space and the roof will typically work it's way through the peanuts to an edge anyway. Many customers simply wrap the roof in an old blanket and a couple layers of cardboard with some duct tape. Be sure to insure it for $250 in case it is damaged in shipping which will cover your cost for a new frame. If you prefer, you may call us and we can send you a box, which will run about $30 for the box with inserts and approx $50 to ship.
Core (your roof) Requirements-
- Transparent roofs only for trade ins please. We cannot use painted roofs to bond a new lens to.
- Roof frame must be unbent, uncracked, untampered with, and otherwise unmolested from factory conditions.
- If you or prior owners have attempted repairs with silicone sealants this will void any warranty as the silicone leaches into the aluminum frame and makes it very difficult to bond to.
- If the frame comes to us covered inepoxies, or anything other than the factory adhesion line this will also void warranty and may incur extra charges for the time it takes us to remove the glues and epoxies.
