I had this installed on a 2000 323ci. it should fit any e46 except M3 (there was adifferencewith thecatalyticconvertercollectorsfrom the m52tu to the m54, this should not be anissuewhen changing out the headers as well). the exhaust was originally made for all 323 and 328 e46 bmw. however, the original header flanges were cut and rewelded for the headers that are included. (see pictures) Iunfortunatelydo not Know the origin of the headers, all i can say is that they are stainless steel, they have nice thick flanges, and they fit well on the car. The system shows signs of normal wear and tear, has minor scuffing on the bottom. does not come equipped with the original header collector flanges. This nonchamberedexhaust system is an excellent way to gain somelegitimatehorsepowerfrom your e46 as well as a massive weight savings. Borla claims over 10hp from the exhaust system itself. the headers could be anywhere from 10-20hp a total gain of up to 30hp! This is a greatopportunityto get anexcellentdeal on an exhaustsystemthat lists for over $900! Plus you are getting some sweet headers as well! Note; installing this whole system will involve removing thecatalyticconverterswhich may prevent it from beingemissionslegal.
