• TopsOnline warrants all its convertible tops, glass and plastic windows, headliners, top pads, top cables, boot covers & tonneau covers to be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of shipment from our premises.
• TopsOnline offers a seventy two (72) month warranty on convertible tops (with no proration for the first 36 months); the bond to the glass of our rear window assemblies is covered for seventy two (72) months with no proration for the first 36 months. Warranty is extended to the first purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent owner.
• If one of the products manufactured should fail or be unacceptable due to defect in manufacturing, any and all adjustments will be done based on description specified above from time of purchase.
• If, within eighteen (18) months from the date of purchase to the original owner, a top or a window found to be defective under the term of this warranty and replacement on the vehicle is required, TopsOnline will pay a labor allowance to offset a portion of the labor. The amount of labor allowance will be determined by multiplying manufacturer's installation hours by the manufacturer labor rate in effect at the time of the replacement installation.
• TopsOnline reserves the right to determine if a warranty claim is valid. We may insist the item be returned to us for examination. Any abuse, misuse or damage caused by incorrect installation or improper cleaning is responsibility of the purchaser. All claims are calculated from date of purchase. Proof of purchase must be presented when claim is made.

Convertible Tops

Guaranteed for seventy two (72) months with proration after the thirty six (36) month from date of purchase. The following are covered under the Warranty: Cracking, de-lamination of the seams, excessive shrinkage and severe discoloration. 

Glass Windows

Guaranteed for seventy two (72) months with proration after the thirty six (36) month from date of purchase. The following are covered under the Warranty: separation of the bond between the fabric and glass. There is no warranty against breakage during and after installation.

Plastic Windows

Guaranteed for seventy two (72) months with proration after the thirty six (36) month from date of purchase. The following are covered under the Warranty: Separation of the bond between the fabric and the plastic as well as the zipper (if applicable). There is no warranty against scratches, cracking, discoloration or degradation of the plastic during & after installation.

Headliners

Guaranteed for seventy two (72) months with proration after the thirty six (36) month from date of purchase. The following are covered under the Warranty: de-lamination of the seams & cracking or breaking of plastic components sewn on the Headliner.

Boot Covers

Guaranteed for seventy two (72) months with proration after the twenty four (24) month from date of purchase. The following are covered under the Warranty: de-lamination of the seams.

Tonneau Covers

Guaranteed for seventy two (72) months with proration after the twenty four (24) month from date of purchase. The following are covered under the Warranty: de-lamination of the seams.

Warranty Exclusions

• Shrinkage: All materials whether canvas or vinyl will experience some shrinkage and color fading due to the aging process of the material.
• Thread: All Polyester threads will experience some level of fading over time.
• Installation: Failure to install products as originally installed may cause damage to the product.
• Top Frames: TopsOnline will not be responsible for damage to the product caused by a worn, misaligned or damaged top frame.
• Incomplete installation: Damage caused by failure to install Side Cables, Top Pads & other necessary components.
• Alterations: Any changes in the product will void warranty.
• Acts of GOD or Nature: TopsOnline cannot be held responsible for damage caused by acts of God or nature
• Conditions: Warranty applies only to the original purchaser. All claims must be submitted with the original invoices. There are no additional warranties or guarantees expressed or implied beyond what is in this page.

Returns

• Please inspect your Convertible Top before you attempt installation, to make sure that you received the correct color and product for your car. If TopsOnline has made a mistake, or if there is any problem with the product you have received, please notify us immediately, and we will make it right for you.
 
• Contact our customer service department within 30 days of receipt to obtain return authorization. We will not accept items returned without a return authorization.
• Buyer is responsible for any and all return shipping costs.
• Our product must be folded carefully and returned in the same condition it was received and in the original box. Special attention must be given to tops with plastic windows. Always pack tissue around the window. Make sure not to crease the window.
• Items will not be accepted for credit if installation was attempted. Only brand new items will be accepted in original box.
 
• All returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
• Sometimes special situations arise. These situations will be handled on an individual basis.
