WARRENTY INFORMATION

Engines:

Used Engines are warrantied as a long block only. Warranty covers internal long block parts only. External parts are left on for convience. Parts must be switched as neccesary. Use of original wiring and sensors is required. Oil and coolant leaks are not covered. Install new seals as gaskets. Must change waterpump and timing belt. Use of OE approved Fluids and Lubricants are required.. Engine must be installed by a licenced Facility and an ASE certified or an OEM certified Technician. Engine must be installed according to manufacturer procedures. Failure to comply with any of these conditions will void the warranty. *********Warranty Void if Altered, Disassembled or Overheated. Abuse, Racing or the addition of aftermarket parts that alter OEM specs will Void warranty*******

Automatic Transmissions:

See attached tag. Follow OE procedures when installing unit. Flush cooler and lines or replace if required. AWD units must have the transfer case flushed and cleaned as well Install new filter, gaskets and seals. Use OE approved fluid only!!! Some units may need to have the computer reprogrammed by the dealer or go through a relearning period. Check with Manufacturer to ensure proper procedures are followed. Unit must be installed by a licensed Facility, ASE or OE Certified Technician. Failure to follow these procedures will result in the Warranty being void.

Standard Transmissions:

Transmission must be installed by a licensed Facility, ASE certified or OE certified Technician.  Seals and gaskets must be replaced. Follow OE procedures for installation. Use only OE approved lubricants. Warranty does not cover abuse (ie, stripped gears, unit being run dry, etc) Install New clutch and resurface flywheel. Failure to follow procedures will void warranty

Axle Assemblies and Transfer Cases:

Drop out units are warrantied for 90 days against excessive bearing noise or play. Some bearing noise may be present. Units must be resealed and filled with OE approved fluid. Warranty does not cover seals or abuse...........Reconditioned units have had new seals and bearings installed. Reconditioned Units are warrantied for 6 months. Warranty does not cover abuse!!!! Most Reconditioned units have been sealed and filled with fluid. Installer must double check and verify fluid level and top off as needed

Cylinder Heads:

All Used Cylinder Heads must be taken to a machine shop to be cleaned and planed. Valve Seals must be replaced

 

 

Most parts we sell through Motors come with a 6 Month money back guarantee unless otherwise stated.                                
The 6 month period starts when you take possession of the part.  No labor warranty is provided.                                
                                
In the event a part sold with a warranty fails to operate within the warranty period we will replace the part(s) with a functionally equivalent part or refund the part purchase price, at our option.                                
No refund on deposits or unwanted special order parts or special "cut" items.                                
                                
To return an item you must contact us via Message within the 30day period to obtain a RMA number (return material authorization).                                
                                
Original shipping charges and return shipping charges are not refunded.
