1999-2003 Saab 9-3 9-5 Information Display (SID) REBUILD!
This rebuild service applies to following vehicles:
- 1999-2003 Saab 9-3
- 1999-2003 Saab 9-5
- Please verify that your SID looks like the auction photo (picture shown has the new LCD installed) provided before shipping in for rebuild
- Cracked glass
- Leaking
- Dim or dead pixels
- Non-functioning or intermittent speaker (not a common issue)
- Please keep in mind there will be an additional charge of $10 to restore the speaker that is not included in the auction price (we will contact you before proceeding)
- Replacement of entire LCD with new design
- Installation of premium high temperature rated ribbon cable
- Replacement of all back light lamps with brand new lamps
- Replacement of non-functioning speaker with a new one (if needed)
- Please keep in mind there will be an additional charge of $10 to restore the speaker that is not included in the auction price (we will contact you before proceeding with the rebuild)
- 2-3 day typical turnaround time (turnaround time is dependent on workload)
- Five year guarantee against return failure
- We do not charge a bench test fee
Instructions on shipping YOUR SID to us:
- PLEASE include the following when sending your SID to us:
- Year Make and Model of the vehicle that the SID is out of.
- Description of the issues you are having with your SID.
- Contact information or PayPal receipt with a phone number we can reach you at.
- Wrap the SID in bubble wrap inside a sturdy cardboard box so it doesn\'t move around.
- Allow several inches of padded space between the SID and inner walls of the box.
- SID units NOT packaged carefully can, and will, break while in transit.
- DO NOT use large air pouches as they will deflate and become useless.
- You are responsible for shipping your SID to us.
- The shipping that is included in the auction is for the return shipping back to you, we cover shipping on SOME auctions and the default is USPS Priority. If you would like your SID shipped back faster, please select a different shipping option.
