If you are looking at these then you know what they are. The name Mercedes gave them was \'reversing poles\' but I have seen them called reversing rods, back up aids and other things. These are in almost unused condition and came from a low miles 1995 S500. By the way, these were last seen in the US on 1996 cars and after that they were discontinued. BUT..... You could still get them added on at the dealer if you wanted them.These are very smooth in their operation and work just like they should. The owner of this car rarely opened his trunk so these have seen less exposure to the outside than most of these items.You are bidding on the pair of them. I have found that when items such as these start to wear then it is best to replace them both since both have seen the same amount of wear.
