Installation:All BMW chips do not require soldering. Install iseasy plug in. Their are many install links and even Youtube videos of how to install the chips. Please do a simple google search. A.Yes.Chips are vehicle specific and tuned strictly for the engine listed. Eprom REPLACES the chip in your Trans Computer

A.Most all BMW TCUs are located in the engine bay.

Q.What about installation of this chip? Can I do it or should I have a professional do it?

A.Most chips are plug and play and can easily be installedby anyone who has basic mechanical skills.
