This auction is for a set of 3 pre-cut clear plastic replacement windows for your Mercedes SL (1 rear window and 2 side windows). Includes all necessary tools and supplies for a simple do it yourself installation. Fits all 1990 - 2002 SL R129 models including 300SL, 500SL, 600SL, SL280, SL320, SL500, SL600. By replacing your faded or cracked windows with our new clear windows you will end up with a professional looking result that will extend the life of your convertible top.
Easy step by step instructions are included. You simply remove your old windows and stitch in the new ones with the hand held tools provided. The windows are marked with guide lines so you know where to stitch. No need to remove your top. No need to glue anything. As we have seen some variation in the size of the factory side windows over the years, we have cut the side windows to the largest we\'ve seen. With that in mind, you may need to trim the new side windows slightly if your original windows are smaller.Our windows are from very high quality, DOT approved 40 gauge UV resistant vinyl. This window kit is designed for the DIY person who does not want to spend thousands having their top replaced. Installation time is approximately 6 hours. Please note that although you can replace the windows by yourself, it goes faster with a second person to help.
