Description > You are getting every thing pictured. I just picked this chunk up from a friend. He had it in a 65 fastback. Got to be to much gear so he took it out. The housing has the big bearings and the N's on the caps.It also has the correct Daytona yoke and big bearing support. You may have to run small washers under the nuts on the u bolts on the yoke. Some one had at some time cut the nuts off with a torch and made small cuts were the nuts tighten up. Just nut a perfect flat surface for the nuts to seat. The factory ford 4:11 gear had to be new when installed because it still has black on the teeth. The ware pattern is very nice. This chunk has a original 31 spline detroit locker unit.Ok here is the deal. To make this a true Drag pak rear you need a 4:30 ring and pinion. So I am including a original set. C8OW on both pieces. They have a little surface rust in a few areas that will come right off with a wire brush. NO PITS . I had sprayed then down with oil some 20 years ago and put them up. All of you know what a FORD 4:30 ring and pinion has sold for in the past. This chunk looks to be a very nice ready to drop in unit. I have not ran it. Just get the 4:30's installed and you have a all original 70 Drag pak chunk. You may can get around $100.00 back when you sell the 4:11. Thanks P.S The shipping quote may be off. all together it weighs 99 pounds. I may have to ship in 2 boxes. So please wait to get the real total before you check out.
