T-TOP ROOF HEADER PANEL
- New Reproduction T-Top Upper Windshield Roof Frame Structure
- This is the metal panel that is visible right above the upper windshield trim and painted the color of the car.
- The upper windshield glass is glued to this panel and it continues to the t-top opening edge. The front t-top weatherstrips reside on top of this panel.
- This is a VERY COMMON panel prone to rust issues not to mention an integrated structural support panel!
- Replaces GM #20087922
- Our Re-Manufactured T-Top Roof Header Panel Replaces and Improves upon the GM Original Version
- These are tooled from an original GM Part (GM #20087922) and not reversed engineered from an existing car.
- Ours Includes the Front Retainer already Welded in Place - GM\'s replacement panel did not! (Retainers: GM Part # 20084307 RH P.S. & 20084308 LH D.S.)
- The factory thickness was only .638 mills. We have increased it to 1.0.
- This has no ill effects on the fitment.
- The reason for doing this is to help strengthen the T-Top roof structure and to help stabilize from tweaking.
- This is NOT a bolt in piece and requires windshield removal & welding!!
