ITEM DETAILS: For sale is a Factory Original Reconditioned Blue Tailgate with Woodgrain Overlay, Name Plates, Trim Moldings and Locks for a 1977-1991 AMC Jeep SJ-Cherokee (Full Size) Sport Utility and 1977-1991 AMC Jeep Grand Wagoneer (Full Size) Sport Utility All 2-Wheel and 4-Wheel Drive Production Models Equipped with the Power Type 1 Lock Tailgate. The tailgate is not complete and does not come with the glass or the power window regulator, however it does come with two support arms and bolts to simplify installation. The tailgate with wood grain overlay, name plates, trim moldings, locks and all related components is a genuine original reconditioned manufacturer part and is not available from the manufacturer or aftermarket.
ITEM CONDITION: The factory original reconditioned blue tailgate with wood grain overlay, name plates, trim moldings, locks and all related components is in VERY GOOD usable condition. Prior to removal from the vehicle, it was professionally inspected for missing or broken components, cracks, distortion, alignment, metal deterioration and tested for complete and proper functionality. The tailgate fits precisely, securely and flush to the vehicle’s driver and passenger corner panels. The tailgate opens and closes easily, properly and latches firmly. It was expertly removed from the vehicle, thoroughly cleaned and re-inspected for corrosion, oxidation, dents, cracks, scratches and general deterioration. The tailgate’s paint finish displays good color retention. With the exception of having minor scratches, dents and blemishing, it is solid and free of cracks, distortion and stripped components. The tailgate with wood grain overlay, name plates, trim moldings, locks and all related components delivers OEM appearance and performance. It was professionally machine buffed with 3M Super Duty Rubbing Compound and hand paste waxed with Mequiar’s Mirror Glaze. The plastic surfaces were treated with Armor All Original Protectant. All items are from our warehouse in F.O.B. Berlin, CT and the seller accepts no responsibility for the item after it leaves our dock. Any freight claim is between the carrier and the buyer. Please inspect all packages carefully. If you sign for an item from the freight company in good condition, they will deny any damage claims.
Returns
Please carefully inspect your items upon receipt. We will accept returns if you notify us within 48 hours from the delivery date and only if the item significally fails to meet the above item desription, Items must be returned in the exact same condition as they were received. We reserve the right to refuse refunds or exchanges on items that are returned in unsatisfactory condition. Returns are refunded for 100% of the sale price minus shipping, handling and insurance charges. We will only pay for shipping on a returned item if the reason for the return was our fault.
