DESCRIPTION
OEM 1971 Mopar 383/440 Magnum Super Commando Four Barrel Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner. This assembly has been media blasted and refinished in black wrinkleto present a period correct image. The base is in nice conditionand features the dual snorkels with fully functional vacuum doors, new vacuum lines, and the correct ATS with push pin retainers. The driver\'s side snorkel retains the correct valve cover vent tube (specific to 71) along with a new hose to connect to the passenger side valve cover, routed through the correct hose retainers on the side of the base.The basefeatures the 5 1/8\" flange that will fit OEM Carter AVS and Thermoquads and comes with the correct air cleaner service decal. The inside surfaces have been finished to prevent the typical surface rust that unfinished factory units were susceptible to.
The lid is in nice condition and includes a new seal and accepts the engine pie pan. Note that the wrinkle finish contains typical variations to match that of the factory production methods. A \"Made in Canada\" stamp has been added to the base and lid as a nice touch of authenticity. A heavy duty air filter and oversized wing nut are included to complete the assembly.
The assembly iscomplemented with a new reproduction Mopar licensed440 Super Commandopie pan which includes a period correct wing nut. Others may be available - please inquire prior to purchase, as most are subject to availability.
As an added value, a new aluminum pre-heater tube is included, making installation as complete as possible.
