This is aNHRA improved \"Weld-In\" application (with a bolt-in option), Drive Shaft Safety Loopfor the 71-77 Chevy Vega. This loop is conformed for theVega floor pan and can be welded or bolted to the OE floor pan reinforcement ribs locatedbehind the transmission cross-member. This is a must for tracks that require a safety loop for cars running faster than 12.99. The loop has a 5\" I.D.and is constructed of 1/4\" (0.250\") thick DOM pipe/tube and is USA made steel. The mounting tabs and bolt holes are CNC laser cut and fully TIG welded forsuperior strength.All are Powder Coated Gloss Black.
