1969-1972 GTO Lemans Center Console Shifter
Included in this auction is a original GM Center Console for a 1969-1972 Pontiac GTO, Lemans, or Tempest that is equipped with a center console and a 3 speed automatic transmission. It has been COMPLETELY reconditioned and the shifter lever has been RE-CHROMED! Does not include the top console mount plate.
This shifter has been completely rebuilt. It has been completely disassembled and worn or damaged parts replaced. The shifter housing has been glass beaded, clear coated and lubricated. The shifter lever itself has been re-chromed and is in show quality condition and the whole assembly works like a brand new shifter.The shifter housing/top plate has some pitting, but nothing that will affect the function and cannot be seen when installed with the console. Would give it a 9 out of 10 rating for performance and all viewable areas (when installed). Great finishing touch to any restoration so don\'t let it get away!
