Of the many years I have been collecting and using these genuine original American Racing Torq Thrust \"D\" aluminum wheels, made exclusively for 1965 and newer Chevrolet Corvette, the D models were made to clear the mid 60s Vette disc brake calipers.....this is my best set of four. These 15x6s have 3.75 inches of backspacing. They all had no repair evidence whatsoever, I media blasted all the wheel backs, and to make them factory-like, I had infamous wheelsmith, Eric Vaughn, machine the lips and leave their finish alone (new owner may want to polish them for a custom look), spot-face each lugnut washer hole, and reshot-peen the spokes, now accented with silver paint. Comes as you see them, with new plastic chrome caps and all new screws (no messed up threads either). In addition to the early vintage Corvettes, they make perfect front runners on 55-57 Chevy Bel Air convertible, 64-\'67 El Camino, \'64-67 Chevelle Malibu, and \'64-\'67 Chevy II Nova Super Sport coupe, sedan, and wagon.
