Shipping is FREE to most locations. There is a $4 shipping charge to Georgia to cover state scrap tire fees, and a $15 charge per order to Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana.
When will tires ship?
Online Tire Deals makes every effort ship on the same day if payment is received by 2 PM eastern time. Otherwise we will ship on the next business day. We only ship to confirmed addresses. Tracking information will be sent to the e-mail address on the Paypal transaction that the payment was made from. Tracking numbers will also be uploaded to eBay the evening that your tires ship out.
Will I have to be home to accept delivery?Any order over $750 or deliveries to apartments, condos, etc will require a signature for delivery. If you are not able to be available for delivery, you can make arrangements with FedEx to hold your package for pickup at one of their hundreds of pickup locations. We highly encourage the use of FedEx delivery manager to get updates on ETA, and delivery times.Can you ship to?
Currently, we only ship to the lower 48 states via FedEx ground or home delivery. You must provide a physical address to ship to. We do not ship to AK, HI, PR or any other territory. Nor do we currently ship outside of the US. We can not ship via USPS.
Can I pick my tires up?
No, we have most of our orders drop shipped from one of our southeast distributors. They do not allow local pickup at their warehouses.
When will I receive my tires?
We pride ourselves on FAST and FREE SHIPPING. Once shipped, 80% of our customers receive their tires in 2 business days. 90% receive their tires within 3 business days. We useFedEx ground which also delivers on Saturday without any additional charge.
Sometimes we know that mistakes happen, or people change their mind. We want the return process to be as easy as possible. Unfortunately returns are expensive, especially when shipping at retail shipping rates.
If a buyer changes their mind about a purchase within the first 60 day after they order, the buyer has the option to purchase return labels from us at our deeply negotiated rates. Once the tires are received in our warehouse, we will quickly give you a full refund of the original purchase price. There is no restocking fee, the only thing the buyer is out, is the cost of the return.
Example return rates: A set of 4 passenger car tires: $40-60 depending on origin. A set of 4 SUV/truck tires $100-150 depending on origin.

TYPES OF MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES
Workmanship and Materials:
What is it? This is the most general of all tire manufacturer warranties. All manufacturers have this warranty and it tyoically is for 5 years from the date fo purchase. This warranty covers a tire that has become unserviceable due to a manufacturing defect or bad raw materials used.
How long? This warranty covers the tire for 5 years from the date of purchase
How much credit? This warranty is a prorated warranty. In other words, if the tire in question has 50% of it’s original tread remaining you will receive 50% credit on the tire.
Return procedure? Workmanship and Material warranties are the most difficult to verify by electronic means. Many times, we cannot verify the problem until we have the tire in hand. Because of this, we will ask for an upfront purchase of a replacement tire (usually as reduced cost). We will provide a return label for the tire in question. Once we receive the bad tire back, we will promptly inspect and determine warranty eligibility. If the tire is eligible for warranty credit, we will base it off usable tread remaining. If the tire is not eligible for credit we will give full explanation of why which supporting photos/documentation.
Ride Disturbance:
What is it? Ride disturbance occurs when a tire will not ride smoothly after the tire tech has machine balanced it. This is also commonly called out of round. A rear out of round tire will be felt in the seat, a front out of round tire will be felt in the steering wheel or dash.
How long? This is very important. A ride disturbance claim must be filed within the first 2/32” of tread wear. For most tires this is only a couple of thousand miles.
How much credit? This is a 100% free replacement for eligible tires.
Return procedure? In most cases a ride disturbance claim is cut and dry, especially if it is address early. If the tire is obviously within the first 2/32” of tread wear we will send a replacement tire along with a prepaid return label. We are taking risk here by providing a replacement tire without any upfront payment from the buyer. We ask that you do us the courtesy and return the bad tire with the prepaid return label within 5 business days.
Tread Life Guarantee:
What is it? A tread life guarantee, also known as a mileage warranty, protects the buyer from premature tread wear.
How long? This varies from manufacturer to manufacturer and tire to tire. The specific duration of a mileage warranty will be noted in the tire listing. Common tread life guarantees are 40k miles, 60k miles, and 80k miles. Refer to the individual listing for more information.
How much credit? The tread life guarantee is a pro-rated warranty based on the number of miles received. If a tire is rated for 60k miles, and you only receive 40k miles we would calculate like this 40/60 = .667 or 67% of advertised mileage received, so we would credit 33% of the original purchase price.
Return procedure? There is some specific information and action required for a proper mileage claim. First the tires must be worn to at least 3/32” of tread remaining, secondly, they must be worn evenly across the tread with no signs of misalignment, lastly you must provide proof of rotations at least every 7k miles or roughly every other oil change. If these conditions are true we will provide prepaid return labels, and once we can verify the details above, will offer credit based on the calculation outlined above.
Road Hazard Protection:
What is it? Some manufacturers offer a road hazard protection warranty. This warranty protects the buyer in the event of a tire being damaged by an object in the road that deems the tire unusable.
How long? Road hazard protections cover the buyer for the first 2/32” of tread wear. For most tires this will be a couple of thousand miles.
How much credit? This is a 100% free replacement for eligible tires.
Return Procedure? This is another warranty this is fairly cut and dry. The tire must have suffered some sort of road hazard puncture i.e. nail, bolt, railroad spike, needle nose pliers. The tire must be unrepairable though conventional repair methods. Puncture must be in the tread area, not the sidewall of the tire. If all the conditions are true, we will send a replacement tire along with a prepaid return label. We are taking risk here by providing a replacement tire without any upfront payment from the buyer. We ask that you do us the courtesy and return the bad tire with the prepaid return label within 5 business days.
THINGS NOT COVERED BY CONVENTIONAL MANUFACTURERS WARRANTIES:
- Tires that become unserviceable due to:
- Conditions resulting from road hazards, such as impact damage, cuts, snags, or vandalism.
- Conditions such as, but not limited to, uneven, cupping, spotty, feathering tread wear resulting from improper installation, wheel misalignment, tire/wheel assembly imbalance, use of an improper rim, improper mounting or dismounting, misapplication, or use of tire chains.
- Conditions resulting from consumer damage, such as improper tire and vehicle maintenance, misuse, abuse, accident, fire or chemical corrosion, underinflation, overloading, over deflection, failure to follow recommended rotation practices.
- Ride complaints after the first 2/32of tread
- Use in any commercial service (i.e. tires used for taxi service, deliver, etc.) unless the tire was specifically designed for such service.
- Use in any racing or off-road applications.
A NOTE ABOUT BUBBLES OR LARGE LUMPS ON THE SIDEWALL
An increasingly common problem has become bubbles on the sidewall of a tire. Bubbles on sidewall are caused by three things. Only one of which is covered by the manufacturer warranty.
- Not Covered: Installer error. This bubble is caused by the installer cutting the bead (the area where the rim meets the tire) with tire installation equipment. This is directly caused by the installer not using enough lubricant for the bead of the tire to slide over the lip of the rim, causing the machine to bind up, subsequently causing a cut in the inside of the bead area. The bubble will appear because the cut in the bead rubber allows air to infiltrate the sidewall of the tire. The bubble will appear on the tire exactly where the cut has occurred and appear very soon after the tire was installed.
- Not Covered: Impact Break. This bubble is caused by an impact of a curb, pothole, or other object. This will cause a small ½” to 1” split in the inner liner of the tire allowing air to infiltrate the sidewall causing a bubble. This bubble usually happens on the sidewall, and will be smaller compared the installer error bubble. The bubble can appear on the sidewall anytime while in service, and will typically grow slowly as compared to an installer error. The bubble will be within 2-3” one way or the other of the inner liner split.
- Covered: Ply Gap Separation. A ply gap separation is a manufacturing defect where the plies of the tire were not laid, or fused in the mold properly allowing air to infiltrate. This bubble can appear on either the sidewall or tread areas and will appear soon after the tire is installer. This will first appear to be an installer error until the tire is dismounted and there is no evidence of bead cuts. This is covered by the manufacturer’s workmanship and material warranty.
What to do if there is a bubble on the sidewall: It is very important to have the tire inspected as soon as you detect a bubble on the sidewall or tread of your tire. Have the tire tech mark the bubble before the tire is demounted from the rim, as it will likely disappear once air is removed. Once the tire is removed from the rim, inspect the area adjacent to the area where the bubble was marked. If an installer error was the cause of the bubble be sure to point it out to the tire tech, as they should compensate you for a replacement tire.

An increasingly common problem has become bubbles on the sidewall of a tire. Bubbles on sidewall are caused by three things. Only one of which is covered by the manufacturer warranty.
- Not Covered: Installer error. This bubble is caused by the installer cutting the bead (the area where the rim meets the tire) with tire installation equipment. This is directly caused by the installer not using enough lubricant for the bead of the tire to slide over the lip of the rim, causing the machine to bind up, subsequently causing a cut in the inside of the bead area. The bubble will appear because the cut in the bead rubber allows air to infiltrate the sidewall of the tire. The bubble will appear on the tire exactly where the cut has occurred and appear very soon after the tire was installed.
- Not Covered: Impact Break. This bubble is caused by an impact of a curb, pothole, or other object. This will cause a small ½” to 1” split in the inner liner of the tire allowing air to infiltrate the sidewall causing a bubble. This bubble usually happens on the sidewall, and will be smaller compared the installer error bubble. The bubble can appear on the sidewall anytime while in service, and will typically grow slowly as compared to an installer error. The bubble will be within 2-3” one way or the other of the inner liner split.
- Covered: Ply Gap Separation. A ply gap separation is a manufacturing defect where the plies of the tire were not laid, or fused in the mold properly allowing air to infiltrate. This bubble can appear on either the sidewall or tread areas and will appear soon after the tire is installer. This will first appear to be an installer error until the tire is dismounted and there is no evidence of bead cuts. This is covered by the manufacturer’s workmanship and material warranty.
What to do if there is a bubble on the sidewall: It is very important to have the tire inspected as soon as you detect a bubble on the sidewall or tread of your tire. Have the tire tech mark the bubble before the tire is demounted from the rim, as it will likely disappear once air is removed. Once the tire is removed from the rim, inspect the area adjacent to the area where the bubble was marked. If an installer error was the cause of the bubble be sure to point it out to the tire tech, as they should compensate you for a replacement tire.
