Pictured is one that has not been polished yet, but the one you will receive looks exactly the same except it will be polished and shiny.
We are the leader in the 3800 Series II engine and have been making and selling these EPA legal direct fit exhaust pipes longer than anyone on the market. The stock downpipe is very restrictive. Depending on what you have done to your car it adds up to 15 HP.
This is a complete bolt on. Will bolt to your stock exhaust manifold and connect to your stock catback exhaust system. You\'ll see others trying to replicate, but there is just no comparison. We run Interlock Flex Section. Not a cheap flex that frays away. All the flanges and exhaust hanger is also stainless.
Front and rear gasket, hanger, and o2 Bung is included on this exhaust pipe. Direct bolt on. No welding needed.
This is emissions legal in most states, but California and New York. California has special cats that are required. Check with your local DMV. In most cars listed below pre 2003 will not have a problem with the check engine light coming on. 2004 + Grand Prix\'s need the wires on the o2 sensor extended and may throw a check engine light as it flows more air than stock. In the 2004+ models it is hit and miss. Some will still throw a code and some will not. We have sold thousands of these exact same downpipes since 2003 and any car that throws a o2 sensor code still after installing a downpipe on a pre 2003 results in a bad MAF sensor or a bad front o2 sensor in the exhaust manifold. The catalytic converter included is a high flow 3\" that is 48 state EPA legal.
