This Alternator Upgrade Adapter will allow to upgrade your Datsun 240z 40-45 amp alternator to a 1981-1983 Nissan 280zx 60 amp internal regulated alternator. You will eliminate the external voltage regulator. This kit also includes a “T” plug for your alternator upgrade. A step-by-step instruction kit will be included. As you begin to upgrade your Datsun 240z with aftermarket radio, stereos, cd changers, electronic ignition, halogen headlights, and more, this is a MUST!
NOTE: It will not work with the 1973 Datsun 240z with a factory electric fuel pump.
