This style of lug nut is used on aftermarket wheels withexposed lug nuts.
The finish is fairly durable, however the manufacturer recommends using caution when installing or removing these lug nuts, it is possible to damage and/or scratch the finish. Air tools should never be used, the hammering action can damage the finish.
