I have been a fan of Firestone ever since Bridgestone bought the company. Shortly after the aquisition I purchased a set of wide oval Firestones and was instantly satisfied by to product. Realizing that Firestone tires are now rebranded or retread ed Bridgestone I would not hesitate to purchase a srt.The new Firestone Indy 500s are Bridgestone RE 003s rebranded for the US market. These are bridgestone tires.My car is a 2015 Ford Mustang with the Performance Package options wich includes the 19\" wheels with Pirelli P-Zero tires from the factory. The P-Zero tires are excellent road-holding material but have a major limiting feature, 220 treadwear. 220 treadwear on a 3.73 limited slip Torsen gear differential translated to 14k of treadlife. Needless to say, I was looking for a little longevity in any tire replacement.To make a long story short, the Firestone have a 340 treadlife and silicon impregnated rubber. Translation, better wear and road holding. The tires grip better than the P-Zeros and will last longer.It won\'t be long until the secret is out that the Indy 500 are superior. I would expect prices to rise.Get yours now while the price is right!

I have loved the Firehawk tires since I have been driving and I wish I could get them to make them in a size for my truck. I have used them on my sports cars for 15 years now and have never been short on traction or performance.

Although choices for this size are very limited, The Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires are an excellent choice. Sticky, yet able to deal with wet weather, they also look great on my Corvette!

This is my 5th set of these tires, and my 3rd set for this car. I got rid of the first 2 cars with these tires on them before i could rack up the mileage, but they handled awesome and were awespome in the snow., plus my brother had been running his for a while as well on the same car I have now.I have personally logged over 110k miles on these tires just in my current car alone. This being the 3rd set and was just instaled 2500 miles ago or so, ack in March 2012. I have averaged 55-60k out of both the other sets and am a very aggresive driver, as well a someone who tows a trailer with the car and has been on more than just a few gravel/dirt roads.These tire have great grip, are very predictable, are priced nicely and are better all around then some summer performance tires. I hope they keep making them. as my brother and I will each buy more whe the time comes.
