Billy Boat Performance Exhaust has once again taken the Pole Position in the market by developing long tube header systems specifically for the C6 ZR1 Corvette. Precision hand crafted from 1.875” CNC mandrel bent T304 stainless steel tubing and 3/8” thick flanges the equal length tubes feed into a 3”, 4-into-1 collector for a smooth uninterrupted exhaust flow. The header design incorporates the correct firing sequence which pairs exhaust ports together for more efficient exhaust scavenging. Dyno testing, utilizing technology previously found in racing applications has shown an increase of horsepower and torque throughout the entire RPM range. When used in conjunction with B&B’s x-pipe and exhaust increases of 47hp and 45ft/lbs of torque were seen. This true bolt-on header comes complete with necessary hardware to make installation a breeze. Any engine builder or tuner will tell you that balancing exhaust pulses form an engine is a sure fire way to increase power and while OE’s try to accomplish this they generally use an H-pipe or stamped part which tend to be not real efficient. Aware of this Billy Boat Performance Exhaust developed a full 3” CNC mandrel bent X-pipe for the C6 Z06/ZR1 Corvettes. Precision hand fabricated from the finest T304 stainless steel materials this X-pipe provides a smoother transition for the exhaust pulses to blend together for better balancing a scavenging. Designed on their in house chassis dyno this bolt on part will not only increase horsepower and torque it also provides for a cleaner exhaust note. As with all B&B products this part is backed by a limited LIFETIME warranty.
