HOW DO I GIVE YOU MY PAINT CODE?
Please provide us your paint code in the Seller Message box during the checkout process.
If you do not know your paint code, or cannot locate your paint code, you can call your local auto dealer and they can provide it.
NOTE: If your paint code is not provided during the checkout process, it may delay your order. Please DO NOT send your VIN, we require your actual paint code to process your order.
Item DescriptionWHAT WE DO
We ship you a custom painted part to replace your damaged bumper, fender, hood, or tailgate. Your order is delivered painted and clear coated, and is ready to install right away. The paint job will match your car, truck, or SUV\'s original factory paint color.
HOW WE DO IT
Every vehicle has a paint code that determines its color. We use your paint code to reproduce your vehicle\'s original factory paint, which we then use to paint your order. The result is a paint color that is equal to that of your vehicle the day it rolled off the factory line.
WHAT YOU GET
PART - A brand new, OEM comparable, aftermarket part: Our bumpers are molded from the same thermoplastic olefin composite as your original bumper. Our fender, hoods, and tailgate shells are made from the same impact resistant steel as the original.
Part Compatibility: To confirm that this is the correct part for your vehicle please compare your original part number against the manufacturer/OEM replacement number in our item specifics. The partslink/interchange number for this aftermarket part can also be found in the item specifics as well as in the listing title.
PAINT - A paint job that matches, or exceeds, the original factory color:All aftermarket parts come with factory primer. The normal paint process is two-stage.*
- Base Coat
- Clear Coat
Primer: All parts are coated with a primer for adhesion. Bumpers are coated with a flexible bumper coater for both adhesion and flexibility.
Paint: We spray the recommended 3 coats of base paint, whether it be a solid color, a metallic, or a pearl paint.
Clear Coat: We apply the recommended 3 coats of clear to all our paint jobs, both to protect the paint as well as to provide a glossy shine.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Step 1: Click on the \"Buy It Now\" button to purchase your custom painted auto part from eBay.
Step 2:Provide your paint code in the \"Message To Seller\"during checkout. This is the best way to insure that we have what we need to process, and ship, your order within our stated handling time.
If you forget, we will send reminders in the eBay Order Confirmation as well as eMail. We prefer that you submit your paint code via eBay Messenger, however, we most prefer that you submit it in the“Message To Seller”during checkout.
*There is an additional $85 chargefor 3-stage, two-tone, and other select paints. This charge applies ONLY IF your paint code is idenitifed among those listed in our \"Paint Code\" info tab below.

We paint orders to match the original Sherwin Williams factory paint code, not your vehicle\'s current color condition. While a majority of our customers, as you can read on our feedback page, are quite happy with the results, we DO NOT guarantee a perfect paint match.
The reason we cannot guarantee a perfect paint match is because a vehicle\'s paint job changes over time, depending on, but not limited to, age, care, and climate. Likewise, we never see your vehicle, or match a sample of your vehicle, which is why, again, we DO NOT guarantee a perfect paint match.
There is always the risk that your order may result in a part in a part that is a different shade, or tone, than your vehicle. We are not the perfect paint solution, as in we cannot guarantee a perfect paint match, rather we are the economical paint solution. As stated before, the large majority of our customers are satisfied with both color and quality. However, if you are a picky person who expects a perfect paint match and a showroom finish, we ask that you please strongly consider visiting a local paint shop to have your part painted by traditional color matching and process.
Orange Peel
Orange peel is a textured imperfection in the clear coat. It is visible to the eye because the clear coat is wavy in a sense, and reflects light in different angles. This will cause the surface to not reflect perfectly. Often, you will find orange peel on the panels that have been repainted, likewise it is not unusual to see \"factory\" orange peel on brand new cars, most have them. Orange peel, however, is fully correctable through a combination of wet sanding and compound buffing. This process flattens the clear coat to an even level to create a near perfect, to perfect, perfection.
Your order may ship out with a slight amount of orange peel. A traditional paint job will also have orange peel, but that paint job will be wet sanded and buffed prior to delivery to the customer. Unfortunately, because we are working on individual parts, we do not take the risk of set sanding and buffing. This is because there is more risk with buffing a part when it is not securely attached to a vehicle.
That said, the majority of our customers are satisfied with our finished work. If you want to go further and give your part a killer shine, a wet sand and buff is the way to go.
Wrong Part
If you receive the wrong part or wrong color (i.e. your car is black and we send you white), please contact us as soon as possible so that we may provide you with return/replacement information.
Again, we do not guarantee a perfect paint match and an order that is a shade off from your vehicle may not be considered wrong?.
