In my continuous effort to deliver the most reliable product possible, on 3/10/18 I began shipping my LED spars/guards with another improvement. Although indiscernible from the products' exterior, I’ve found a way to further reduce the possibility of a cold solder joint developing throughout my products' lifetime. In lieu of a 15 LED one-piece PCB (printed circuit board), I’ve redesigned the LED array to consist of 15 separate linked PCBs, each PCB with an independent LED/resistor combination. Each PCB is installed in an impact resistant material, isolated from the neighboring PCB.In fact, now that my improved product is available, I'm offering a prorated trade-in program for any of my existing customers that would appreciate the improvements.
The improved version utilizes the exact same molded component however employs the new LED arrays providing the following benefits:
