Auto-Dimming Mirror Please read through the entire description before bidding!
This auction is for a factory/OEM Donnelly auto-dimming rear view mirror removed from a 2002 Jaguar X-Type. I believe this should work with any 2002 - 2008 Jaguar X-Type (and possibly other years/models), but *please verify this for yourself*! This is a genuine Jaguar part, not some cheap Chinese aftermarket replacement. Don\'t skimp out on your high-end import vehicle with garbage quality replacement parts. These mirrors commonly break/leak, so here is your chance to replace your mirror for a fraction of the dealer cost. Also, if your car did not come with an auto dimming mirror from the factory, and you\'d like to upgrade to one, wiring one in is very easy to do. For this particular mirror, all that is needed is one wire run to a +12v source that comes on with ignition/accessories and one wire that is grounded. I will ID those 2 wires for the buyer. There are several other wires that I believe are meant to be wired to work in conjunction with auto-dimming side mirrors. However, not wiring these will not affect the basic dimming response of the inside mirror to glare/bright lights from behind. I am not a dealer or car parts retailer! Determining part fitment and compatibility is the 100% sole responsibility of the buyer/bidder! There are no refunds or exchanges for "oops, I got the wrong part/this part doesn\'t work on my car", so please do your own homework and look over the parts carefully. Condition This part is in overall excellent condition. Cosmetically, it has minimal wear (very light surface scuffs/scratches). The mirror has been TESTED for functionality, and despite the fact that the green LED indicator does not come on, the auto-dimming feature itself is working perfectly as can be seen below.
