GM made exhaust systems with two different types of exhaustflanges on the on the collector side of the passenger side header. There is no consistency to any of thisthat pertains to trim level, motor or transmission type so the only way to makesure what kind of exhaust flange you have is to look underneath the vehicle (orhave a mechanic do it). No matterwhat manufacturer of headers you go with or what any listing says, you willhave to do this in order to make sure that you will have a proper fitment.
Look under the vehicle on the passenger side where theexhaust meets the exhaust manifold.
If the flanges are just about touching, you have standard“flat” flanges and these headers will bolt right up (most vehicles have this). You’regood to go!
If there is a "large" gap, you have a ball andsocket style flange with a donut gasket and these headers will not bolt updirectly. You can still make themwork, but you may be better off buying another set of headers with this styleflange if you're looking for a direct bolt-on install.
